The cost effective V-530 UV/VIS (190-1100nm) dual-beam spectrophotometer employs a single monochromator with a holographic concave grating (1200 grooves/mm, modified Rowland mount). Silicon photo-diode detectors are used for sample and reference. High Speed scanning; bright optics and fast response detectors allow the V-530 to scan at speeds of up to 4000nm/min without tracking error
Uses : Any application where a fixed 2nm bandpass (easily passes the BP test for toluene/Hexane) is acceptable; ideal for teaching, medical, routine QA/QC laboratories, research for simple spectroscopy applications.
