Samples for trace metals analysis are prepared and placed into specialized Teflon lined microwave digestion vessels. The vessels are placed in the CEM MDS-2100 system for microwave digestion. The MDS allows a programmable temperature and/or pressure profile that can be monitored during the digestion procedure to insure complete digestion of samples. Twelve samples can be digested in a single run with temperature and pressure being monitored for assurance of complete digestion. All sample information temperature and pressure profiles are printed on hardcopy at the time of digestion for easy review and to complete data sets.
